Financial institutions’ rapid migration to cloud-based environment has created both opportunities and challenges especially in the field of data governance. Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has become very crucial to financial system as the compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements remains a critical concern. The objective of this paper is to explore documented data design to address these challenges.
